Exhibition

The project "On the Top!" Is not only a milestone in the work of Nina Mirashkina, but also the Triumph of Love for the artist to herself. Murashkina consciously demonstrates boldness and boldly states that "I - has taken place" and will continue to be. Artist summarizes personal experience and, with the help of prominent feminine images, reproduces his own vision of a woman. Women with ambiguous and unpopular positioning today, both strong and weak, possessing a snake's flexibility and acute sensuality that is able to conquer, but more often conquers. The images of the artist grow out of intimate, sensory knowledge of themselves and of the world. She openly and even ironically speaks of inexperienced love, self-sacrificing confidence, and the naive games played by a young girl on the way of growing up. Acquiring experience, the young woman goes to the top, where she for the first time holistically realizes itself and sees new prospects.

His artistic image and the very Nina Murashkina from the young years carefully compiled with very controversial components. For example, the elegance of the XIX century, borrowed from the Victorian literary artist, boldly coincides with the girl’s memories of the gloomy, late-Soviet life of Donetsk — the smell of nylon stockings and worn mommy pearls. In her world, the fairy tale is scary, and the scenes of imaginary intimate diaries arouse their erotic tone. Murashkina boldly juggles with symbolism and philosophy. But among the accumulation of cultural codes of different eras, the viewer will see symbols that can cause surprise and misunderstanding. For example, the eyes on the nipples are like a long-standing image of hypersensitivity, the ability to rely on irrational deep inner instruments of perception of the world.

An important part of the exposition of the future exhibition will be the joint work with the Spanish artist Xavier Escala. The installation "I'm very shy" artists consider the ideological site of the exhibition, a symbolic act of sacrifice, which must be raised to itself, in order to leave everything unnecessary in the past and to allow for the future. Also on the show will be presented new works of the artist, along with works from collections of Pavel Martynov, Boris and Tetyana Grinyovy, Konstantyn Kozhemyaka and Pavel Gudimov. Author of the concept — Galina Gleba.
