Oleg Malovany is a photographer, a representative of the first generation of Kharkiv School of Photography, one of the members of the Vremya group, an association of artists that emerged at the dawn of Kharkiv School of Photography.

In his artistic practice, the artist is fond of different types of manipulations with photographic material - collages, solarizations, isogels, etc. A characteristic feature of the artist's work is the emphasis on color and formal components.
