ART KUZEMYN: a place for art
10.01-11.30
"ART KUZEMYN" — an artistic residence in the village of Kuzemyn, Okhtyrka district, Sumy region; a project that supports the policy of cultural decentralization and promotes the development of local initiatives.
This year's residency focuses exclusively on the city of Kharkiv and its art. The time and circumstances are such that we have to solve only specific and urgent tasks to preserve and strengthen the cultural field.
That's why the main thing for us is now:
- Continuation of the YermilovCentre's mission to help the Kharkiv art community and present it outside the city and the country.
- Friendly support for artists from Kharkiv whose creative practice is connected with the activities of the YermilovCentre.
- Providing Kharkiv artists the opportunity to live and work in relative safety.
- Collective work in the format of a laboratory (curator, moderator, artists) to create a large exhibition project about the importance of the city of Kharkiv and Kharkiv art in Ukrainian culture and society during the war.
Participants: Kostiantyn Zorkin, Artem Volokitin, Tetiana Malynovska, Vitalii Kokhan, Oleh Kalashnik, Oleksii Yalovega, Vladyslav Krasnoshchok, Oleksandr Ridnyi, Eliza Mamardashvili, Olya Fedorova, Andrii Rachynskyi, Daniil Revkovskyi, Taras Kamennoy, Oksana Solop, Violetta Terlyga, Bella Logachova.
