October 13 at 18:00 we invite you to the exhibition of participants of "Residents of Universe"!

The artists' works will be displayed in the work in progress format. You will be able to see projects that are at different stages of finalization. Essays, lively matter of thought and artistic research are a reminder of the continuity of the creative process. The variety of "tools" that artists choose, the search for the most expressive visual language emphasizes the multidimensionality of the space where science and the arts can interact.

The project of an international artistic residency was realized at the VN Karazin Kharkiv National University, on the initiative of the Yermilov Center. The main objectives of this year's residency are interdisciplinarity and the interaction of science and art.

According to the opening circle, artists from Ukraine, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Poland, and Lithuania became participants in the international residency:

Anastasшia Loшko, Olexander Sirous, Anna Taradina, Rafael Kromу, Javier Estupinan, Thomas Terekas, Patricia Plich, Manca Bajec, and Jocelyn McGregor.

 

To work, they were asked to choose one of the departments of the University: Museums of Archeology, Nature, University History, Library, Botanical Garden, Observatory, Building and Courtyard of the University.

 

During the month, residents worked at their chosen locations. Each of them conducted their own artistic research, the finale of which was the exhibition project.

 

The exhibition will run until October 21.
