XI International Triennial of Ecological Poster – The 4th Block | Changes

The online opening of The 4th Block XI International Triennial of Ecological Poster exhibition will take place on April 22 at 18:00.

4th Block is an association of designers, artists, art managers, who acquaint the viewer with the acute social themes of the poster, encouraging to expand the area of personal responsibility. The project was founded 30 years ago by Oleg Veklenko, who is a designer and professor at the KhDADM. He took part in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chornobyl catastrophe in 1986, this experience was the impetus for the launch of the festival and the basis for its name.
Triennial 2021 will be held under the name Changes.
Today we live "between" and "in the middle" of two paradigms of change, in the positive and negative consequences of progress - changes that both improve and worsen our lives. The reaction to this development and the two-sidedness of its mobility have found a response in the posters of world designers and will be presented at the exhibition at YermilovCentre.
The exposition consists of 950 posters from 53 countries of the world, united in four nominations: Ecological Consciousness, Isolation, Animated Poster, Chernobyl-Fukushima: 35-10. "Khudprom100 / Learn to change" is the fifth nomination and it is shown in KhDADM (third building) st. Arts 11. Themes are developed in three installations:
- Photinus studio will present an organic direction in design;
- A collective installation created by children under the direction of Aza Nizi Maza studio;
- installation by Austrian sound designer Seppo Grundler.
We invite you to an online concert of underground music by Seppo Grundler after the opening of the exhibition at 19:00. The broadcast will take place on the musician's YouTube channel:
