On November 6 at 6:00 pm the opening of the exhibition Yevgen Svitlychnyi "Babai: Painting Mythology " will be held. The exhibition, which arose from the intersection of the three spheres, consonants with the author's worldview - a metaphysical tension between the "culture-history-geography" of his motherland.

 

Yevgen Svitlychny

Painter, born in 1948 in Kaunas, Lithuania.

He graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute in 1973. Associate Professor at the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Participated in international and all-Ukrainian exhibitions since the 1980s. Works are stored in the United States, Bolivia, and private collections in Germany, Portugal and many other countries around the world.

Lives and works in Kharkiv.
